Parents make PPE for school

15th June 2020
Two of our parents have been incredibly kind and busy, making PPE for all of the staff at Westgate. Gavin Parry, on behalf of Otley Makerspace, arranged for us to receive plastic visors which had been 3D printed especially for the purpose. These will be used in the event of needing to look after a child who become unwell. Rachel Michael has also been busy, sewing 2 fabric face masks for every member of staff, to keep ourselves and others safe on our journeys to and from school.
You can see some of the staff modelling their creations in the photograph above.
We are so grateful to Gavin and Rachel for their kindness and generosity, helping to keep staff safe so that we can keep our pupils safe.
THANK YOU!
