Easter Concert

31st March 2015
This afternoon over 70 children from across Key Stage 2 (over half of the key stage) performed in our Easter Concert for parents and family members. The standard of performance, from even our most inexperienced musicians, was higher than ever, seeing children perform on violins, cellos, guitars, flutes, clarinets, cornets and trumpets, as well as choir singing too.
Music provides children excellent opportunities to develop their confidence, co-operation, listening and thinking skills and is a key part of our curriculum at Westgate.
