Youth Summit- Outer North West

11th February 2020
Today, Amelie, Niamh and Toby represented our school at the Outer North West Youth Summit today. They spent the day at Leeds Civic Hall along with about 100 other children from across our part of Leeds, learning about local democracy, the roles and responsibilities of city councillors and the Lord Mayor. As part of the day, we discussed how Leeds can respond to the Climate Emergency. Amelie, Niamh and Toby gave a presentation to everyone there about the things that we are doing to improve Westgate's sustainability, which you can read below.
Th children were exemplary representatives for our school and made valuable contributions throughout the day. Well done, Westgate!
