When We Provide Remote Learning

• During full or partial school closures for extended periods.

• For pupils who are absent due to illness/ medical needs for extended periods but are well enough to learn. Learning for individual pupils is always as a last resort and only as part of a plan to return into school. It is not seen as a long term alternative to in-person attendance.

How to Access

• Learning tasks are communicated through Google Classroom.

• Support is available for families without devices or internet access.

Support for All Pupils

• Resources are adapted for pupils with SEND.

• Regular contact will be made to support wellbeing and engagement.

Online Safety

• All remote learning follows our safeguarding policies and any concerns should be raised via our school office in strictest confidence.
