Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding from the government given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Pupil premium funding is available to both mainstream and non-mainstream schools, such as special schools and pupil referral units.

Identifying disadvantaged pupils

The government uses eligibility for free school meals as the main measure of deprivation at pupil level. We also receive enhanced pupil premium for children who are looked after or who have been adopted from care.

Below you can find information about how we have spent our Pupil Premium funding and the impact it has had.
