The children can have instrumental lessons in Key Stage 2 and peripatetic specialists come in to teach these. These lessons are subsidised by the school and the instruments currently available are:

We are also very lucky that through our close links with Prince Henry’s Grammar School and Specialist Language College, our Year 6 children have the opportunity to learn Spanish. This is also being taught to other KS2 classes, as part of the curriculum.

We also work with St Mary’s Specialist PE College in Menston to extend the range of PE activities we can offer. The children can take part in basketball, tag rugby, athletics, cricket and gymnastics to name but a few.
